Riverside was designed and built by the owners, Stephen and Catherine, in 2004.

It sits in the most stunningly beautiful location on the banks of the Huon River at Glaziers Bay, a quiet rural area just ten minutes from Cygnet township.

The cottage has its own separate entrance, is in a soft bush setting and is so private, in fact can only be seen from the river.

The interior is spacious, stylish and contemporary, however what makes it unique is the display of original art works by Stephen and Catherine.

Paintings, drawings and sculptures reflect the couple's close relationship with their unique environment.

The cottage is ideal for couples holidaying together. There are two queen size bedrooms with ensuites, separated by the spacious dining and living area. There is also a twin bedroom. Every room including the full size kitchen has amazing views across the river to the Hartz Mountains and beyond in the far South-West.

The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of fresh local produce enabling you to prepare a good hearty breakfast. All provisions are included in the rates.

Fishing is excellent and the barbecue and large out door dining area is a wonderful spot to prepare and enjoy your catch.
